Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Saasflare handles information when you visit saasflare.dev, subscribe to updates, contact us, or make a purchase.

Last updated: July 26, 2026

The short version

We collect only the information needed to operate the site, understand aggregate usage, deliver subscriptions and purchases, and respond to you. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site advertising.

1. Who we are

Saasflare operates saasflare.dev and is responsible for the information described in this policy. In this policy, “Saasflare,” “we,” and “our” refer to the operator of this website.

Questions or requests about privacy can be sent to hi@saasflare.dev.

2. Scope

This policy applies to the Saasflare marketing website, its newsletter signup, checkout flow, and direct communications with us.

It does not govern a copy of a Saasflare product that a customer deploys into their own Cloudflare account. In that situation, the customer controls the data processed by their deployment and is responsible for describing its privacy practices. Third-party websites linked from Saasflare, including GitHub, X, Cloudflare, and Stripe, publish their own privacy policies.

3. Information we handle

The information we handle depends on how you use the site.

  • Website analytics: pages viewed, referring page, timestamps, website identifier, and browser or device information. Our analytics service may process an IP address and user-agent transiently to generate a short-lived visitor identifier. We do not use analytics cookies or a cross-site advertising identifier.
  • Newsletter: email address, subscription source, confirmation status, subscription and unsubscribe timestamps, and delivery events needed to operate the list. If we add open or click measurement, this policy will be updated before that measurement is enabled.
  • Checkout: selected product or plan, amount, currency, checkout session identifier, payment status, and contact information returned by Stripe. Stripe handles complete card details; Saasflare does not receive or store complete card numbers.
  • Communications: your email address, social handle, WeChat identifier, and the contents of messages you choose to send us.
  • Preferences: the language you select is stored in your browser’s local storage so the site can remember it.
  • Technical records: Cloudflare and our applications may process request metadata, IP addresses, timestamps, and error or security events needed to deliver and protect the site.

4. How we use information

We use information to:

  • Deliver and secure the website.
  • Measure site usage, diagnose errors, and improve content and product pages.
  • Confirm newsletter subscriptions, send requested updates, and honor unsubscribe requests.
  • Start and verify checkout, deliver purchased products or services, provide support, and maintain transaction records.
  • Respond to questions and prevent abuse, fraud, or security incidents.
  • Meet accounting, tax, legal, and regulatory obligations that apply to us.

6. Service providers and sharing

We do not sell personal information and do not share it for cross-site behavioral advertising.

We disclose information only as needed to service providers that help us run the website and business, including Cloudflare for hosting, network delivery, security, and storage; Stripe for checkout and payment processing; and email infrastructure used to confirm subscriptions and deliver messages. These providers process information under their own terms and privacy commitments.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to protect users or the service, in connection with a business reorganization, or to professional advisers who are required to keep it confidential.

7. Retention

We keep information only for as long as needed for the purpose described here, considering security, support, accounting, dispute, and legal requirements.

  • Newsletter records are kept while you are subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we may retain a minimal suppression record so we can respect the request and avoid adding the address again by mistake.
  • Checkout and transaction records are retained for the period required to deliver the purchase, resolve disputes, and meet accounting or legal obligations.
  • Support messages are retained while the conversation is active and for a reasonable period afterward so we can follow up and maintain business records.
  • Analytics events, operational logs, and security records are retained only for the period needed to understand usage, diagnose problems, and protect the service, after which they are deleted or aggregated.

8. Your choices and rights

You can unsubscribe from product updates at any time by using the link in any marketing email. You can also clear the saved language preference through your browser storage controls.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or an objection to certain processing. You may also have the right to complain to a local data protection authority.

Send a request to hi@saasflare.dev. We may need to verify that the request relates to you before acting on it. Some information may need to be retained where the law requires it or where it is necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.

9. Cookies and browser privacy signals

Saasflare does not currently use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking on this website. The site stores the selected language in local storage, and our first-party analytics is designed to work without cookies.

Because we do not sell personal information or use it for cross-site behavioral advertising, browser “Do Not Track” or Global Privacy Control signals do not change those practices. If our use of tracking technology changes, we will update this policy and provide any controls required by applicable law.

10. International processing

Saasflare serves users internationally. Cloudflare, Stripe, and other service providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, we rely on the safeguards offered by the relevant provider or another legally recognized transfer mechanism.

11. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information, including access controls, encrypted network connections, and limiting the information we collect. No internet service can guarantee absolute security.

12. Children

Saasflare is built for people creating and operating software businesses. The website is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

13. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the website, products, providers, or legal requirements change. We will publish the revised policy here and update the date at the top. If a change materially affects how we use information already collected, we will provide additional notice where required.

14. Contact
